• What is the Regional Sales Distributor / Reseller Opportunity?
  This is an opportunity to become an independent distributor and reseller of Altus fuel system replacements (fuel pump assemblies and electronic control unit (ECU) for motorcycles and scooters. Altus also manufactures simple fuel pumps for some tractors, jet skis, and small boat engines. 
   

• Is this a salaried job?
  No, this is not a salaried job position. Your earnings depend on the markup you apply to products that you purchase from Altus at wholesale cost and resell to your customers.
   

• Who can apply for this opportunity?
  Candidates with an established business location, space to stock inventory, and strong sales, marketing, and customer service skills are eligible. Knowledge of motorcycle, scooter, or small engine fuel systems is a plus.
   

• What products will I be selling?
  You will resell Altus fuel pump assemblies and electronic control units (ECU) designed for motorcycles, scooters. Altus also manufactures fuel pumps for tractors, jet skis, and small boat engines. See all Altus products here.
   

• What is a typical reseller work day like?
  This is not a job where you sit at a desk and collect a salary.  The bulk of your work will probably require you to  go out to scooter repairs shops, introduce yourself to the shop boss, and then introduce a way that the shop boss can save money by buying high quality long-lasting Altus products.
  
  After you establish the repair shop as a new customer, you need to be available for when your customer needs another part. You may take the product directly to the customer and receive payment at the shop, or arrange delivery and payment in some other way.
  
  Be sure to keep a sufficient stock of Altus products in your storage space to ensure no delays in delivering products to your customers.
   

• Who are my target customers?
  Your primary customers are motorcycle and scooter repair shop owners. You can also sell to repair shops servicing small boat engines, jet skis, and tractors.
   

• But what if I'm already a repair shop mechanic?
  Then you are the perfect candidate! You have the experience and know-how and can perfectly relate to other repair shop bosses! Congratulations!
   

• What are the key responsibilities of a distributor?
  Responsibilities include building customer relationships, maintaining local inventory, marketing and selling Altus products, providing customer service, and collaborating with Altus for order fulfillment.
   

• What do I need to invest?
  The initial investment is relatively small, very low risk, and is entirely under your control. See, the following
   

  • What is the initial order requirement?
    Place an initial order of at least one product (e.g., a fuel pump assembly), receive the product and inspect its quality. Do this so that you may know that Altus provides quality products and prompt shipment. Then...
     

  • What is the ongoing orders requirement?
    After you are satisfied with the product you receive after your initial order, place ongoing orders of at least 20 products per shipment (fuel pump assemblies and/or ECUs) to maintain stock at your business. There is no deadline for placing these orders. Only order when you need to replenish your on-site stock.
     

• What kind of business location is required?
  You need a physical business location with sufficient floor space to stock and manage Altus product inventory. While a traditional business storefront is preferred, you can run this business from your home if you wish.
   

• Can I run this business from home?
  Altus is okay if you run this business from your home if you wish. But be sure to do this in compliance with any laws that apply to your home business.
   

• Can I use my own brand or company name?
  Yes, you may retain and promote your business brand or company name. However, you may not promote yourself as an Altus employee or branch office. 
   

• What support does Altus provide to distributors?
  Altus offers access to high-quality products at wholesale cost, and collaboration for order fulfillment and inventory management. Altus also provides English- or Mandarin-language support (via WhatsApp, LINE, Signal or similar chat/voice app)
